Cessna produced the Citation III as the high performance larger cabin model on from the original Citation II, back in 1983, it was a very successful jet for its time, setting several speed / climb records. Production ceased in 1992, but there are several nice Citaton III aircraft still available for charter on the European market.

The Citation III has a maximum cruising speed of 544mph/875kph, at an altitude of 51,000ft.
